THE PROCEDURE

METHODS FOR HAIR TRANSPLANT

FUE METHOD

FUE is an advanced non-surgical hair restoration technique. It’s less invasive than traditional hair transplants.
This non-surgical solution leaves no linear scar and requires no stitches.
With this technology, the follicles are picked out from the donor area via the Micro Motor, and transplanted into the receiving area by opening fine channels in the bald areas with precise medical forceps. The operation takes around (6-8) hours.

DHI METHOD

The doctor opens channels in the areas of baldness that due to be treated with Choi Pen Implanters, then they implant the extracted follicles which are up to (3500).

FUE OR DHI? WHICH METHOD IS FOR ME?

The choice between FUE or DHI procedure depends on several reasons such as the patient’s hair loss classification, the size of the thinning area and quantity of available donor hair.

Both FUE and DHI are different types of hair transplant techniques that can help you in achieving your desired look. However, there are certain differences between FUE technique and DHI technique.

Some of these differences can be listed as follows:

The FUE method is ideal for covering large areas, whereas the DHI method provides a better possibility for achieving higher density.
If the patient has severe hair loss and bald patches are too wide to be covered, even if the patient wants to undergo a one session hair transplant procedure using the DHI method, he/she will be a better candidate for the FUE technique.
The reason for this is that the FUE technique enables to harvest higher amounts of grafts in a single session.
The major distinctive feature of the DHI method compared to other hair transplant methods is that the DHI technique employs a pen-like medical instrument called “Choi implanter” that creates the recipient sites and simultaneously transplants the grafts.
The FUE method requires patients to have their heads completely shaved prior to the procedure, whereas the DHI method only requires the donor area to be shaved. This provides a significant advantage for female patients.

STEPS AFTER THE OPERATION

It is very important to protect the transplantation area and the donor area after hair transplantation. This care includes washing the relevant areas, protecting them from the sun and cold, sleeping style, etc. covers many situations. The initial recovery period is 10 days. During this 10-day period, you can wash your hair sensitively and clean your scalp with the shampoo and lotion recommended by your doctor. Of course, you should keep your head away from tools such as combs, brushes that can cause impact, and heat. Crusting will be seen in the transplanted area. When you apply the lotion given by your doctor regularly and correctly, you will see that this problem is solved.

You can return to your daily life after 10 days of the application. The transplanted hair will fall out within 3 months and will be replaced by new ones. Over time, your new hair will become stronger, thicker and longer. When you complete a year, you will have the image you have been waiting for a long time.
